The Priory and its members support the SMOTJ’s global mission through our individual contributions to the Jerusalem Mite and through priory donations to special appeals from GPUSA. A significant number of our members also fund scholarships for Palestinian youth through the Gen. Raymond Davis Fund – GPUSA’s 501c3 organization.
Each year the Charitable Awards Committe of St Andrew selects a local charity from those nominated by our members to support with our surplus funds. Recently we have supported:
- 2024 – Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry (hurricane relief)
- 2023 – Sweet Sleep (bedding for children in foster care)
- 2022 – Hometown Service Coalition – Shadey Valley TN (Food bank and local support)
- 2021 – Operation Stand-Down Nashville – Veterans services
- 2020 – BSA Middle Tennessee Council (STEM program support – second year commitment)
- 2019 – BSA Middle Tennessee Council (STEM program support)
- 2018 – Operation Stand-Down Memphis – Veterans services
